Yes, there is a maximum limit on the amount that can be paid online in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @user31303. I’m here to provide clarity on the matter.

In QBO, while there’s no limit on the frequency of payments you can make, there is a limit in terms of the amounts you can pay in a single transaction.

Previously, customers were limited to a $50,000 cap that could be paid online for a single transaction. This cap has now been increased to $100,000, subject to certain eligibility criteria.

It’s crucial to understand that this raised cap doesn’t automatically approve all ACH transactions below $100,000.

Once you reach the limit, customers will be unable to make online payments until your limit is reset over time. However, this doesn’t prevent you from receiving the full amount due. Your customers have the option to settle the remaining balance by initiating a separate transaction or opting for alternative payment methods, such as cash or check.
