Welcome to the Community, we are pleased to have you, @parkmarker.

We understand this is new to your end. Allow me to help you change your invoice to the old format.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click on the +New button located on the left side of the navigation bar.
  3. Select Invoice.
  4. On the top-right corner, click the Old Layout button.
  5. Click the Switch Layout button.
  6. Enter or select the necessary details, and then the click Leave and Submit button.

If you are a visual person, you can view this photo:

Here's how to access your new invoice template after reverting to the old invoice experience:

  1. Go to Settings and then select Custom form styles.
  2. Find your template.
  3. Select the dropdown ▼ in the Action column.
  4. Select Make default. You'll see (default) displayed by the default template name.

Furthermore, if the customer approves your estimate, you can easily convert an estimate into an invoice, and if you want to add a discount to an invoice or sales receipt you can set discounts as fixed prices or percentages. We'll also show you how to add them as a line item on your form.

Let me know if you have any other concerns or questions regarding to invoice. I’m more than happy to help. Keep safe!
