I went to add a contractor but misspelled the email and now I cannot edit the email or resend it to the correct email address, how do I get it changed?

Welcome to the forum, and I appreciate you making your first post here. I see you want to correct the misspelled email address of your contractor in QuickBooks Online. I've got you! I have here guidelines you can follow to achieve this.

 

If you cannot edit on the Contractors page, you may need to update the information through the Expense tab instead. I will attach screenshots along with the steps for a better reference:

 

  1. Go to Expenses from the left menu, then choose Vendors.
  2. Locate the contractor from there and open the profile.
  3. Select Edit.


     
  4. Edit the new email address.
  5. Select Save and Close.


     
  6. Once done, refresh QuickBooks for changes to take effect.

 

You can also check it on the Contractors page to see the corrected email address.
