Question

I would like to use the new layout for estimates and invoices, but as soon as I click the button, it shows the new layout and then automatically turns back to the old one

I would like to use the new layout for estimates and invoices, but as soon as I click the button, it shows the new layout and then automatically turns back to the old one. It looks like there are some glitches, wonder how I can use them. I used to use them, and sommehow it went back by itself.

While we are constantly evolving our products to provide you with the best possible user experience, we do not anticipate a change to this product behavior in the immediate future. This is currently working by design and is not a bug. At this time, customers opt-out and cannot opt back into the new experiences. This capability will be available in the future.

 

We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to share your concerns or ideas via the in-product Feedback tool. Here's how:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon⚙, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Then select Next to submit feedback.

 

Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development team to help improve your experience in QuickBooks Online. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

 

Also, some features are not yet available in the new Invoicing/Estimate experience and this will prevent you from moving to the new experience. You can see an updated list of these limitations here:  See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Thanks for your good reply, JoesemM.

Do you mean that I am not allowed to use the new layout even though there are buttons on the estimate and invoice, because I had accidentally clicked 'going back to old layout' button? And there is no way at this moment to cancel that request? Pretty sad about it, because when I clicked that there was no warning nor explanation... I really would like to use the new feature, and will request the "new" feature, not sure why this is so hard to do... Would that be possible if I make the new account and integrate all the information and receipts to that?
