Warm welcome, Rawls. I see the benefit of putting your customer on credit hold.
This option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. As a workaround, we can put in the customer profile notes that they are under credit hold.
Here's how:
Hover to Sales, then click on Customers.
Double-click the customer you want to add a note
Click on Add Notes.
In the Notes section, add "This customer is under credit hold."
Click on Save.

On the other hand, if your customers have outstanding balances or invoices that will soon be overdue, you can send them a statement. This way, they'll clearly understand what they owe and when it's due. It also help you maintain a healthy relationship with your customers by ensuring they know their financial obligations and can make timely payments.
