Question

If I import invoices to QB Online and I want the invoice to be auto paid by CC on file, will this function auto fill in when the invoice imports?

If I manually enter the invoice, I heard that the setting can auto fill.  However, is it true that if you import the sale, it will not auto select that payment option?

Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community, @usericeguy0817. Let us provide information about importing invoices from a file to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The auto-payment setting for credit cards on a file is not pre-filled when importing the invoices. If you want to enable the auto-payment option for a particular invoice, you can edit it once it has been imported to add the payment options. It is important to note that this additional step is required to ensure that the auto-payment feature works as intended. Without adding the payment options manually, the auto-payment feature will not be activated for the invoices.

Moreover, you may also consider having a third-party application that can integrate the QBO to auto-set payment options during the import process.

On the other hand, you can visit this link to help you manage invoices inside QBO:
