Question

In my template for invoices the phone number has no dashes, only a +1, then the number like +1 [**********]. I have tried to change to no avail. Help?

Thank you for posting here in the QuickBooks Community, @lupinecase.

I can share information about updating the phone number template with your invoices.Currently, you can edit the phone number in the invoice template. However, the option to add a dash is unavailable.

Well it looks stupid.  You would think for the monthly fee we would have more of a say in our invoices.  Ridiculous!  I mean what county has a phone number like that?

This UNWANTED and IRRITATING change just happened to me with my invoices.  I do NOT do anything international, and I want my phone number in the format I CHOOSE on MY INVOICES.  They are taking away all of our preferences, and as soon as I have time to pull my plan together and get away from QB, I'm going to.   I hate they changes they've made that don't allow me to have my invoice look as I wish it to.  This is hardly the first forced change/acceptance I've had to make.  My phone number with +1 and then my number squished together is so annyoing to me.  It looks like crap, and my invoices look juvenile. I'm thinking they want to run all of us off.  QB has been nothing short of a nightmare for me for the last 6+ months.

Yes I am not happy.  Unfortunately my accountant uses it, so had to move from Peachtree.  Very frustrating.
