Question

In preparing an estimate, I want to only show total at bottom; don't want to show individual costs for each line item. How to remove amount $0.00 on each line?

Hey cliff-cmconst,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Yes! You can remove $0.00 by clicking the Amount and Rate boxes and hitting the Backspace button on your device. I have included a screenshot below showing how it would look.

Let me know if you have any other questions! I will be happy to help. See you later.

This did not work for me on the new template design- I hit the delete button and it deletes until you go to the next section and it auto populates again automatically.

Greetings Robert!

I'd be happy to assist you in creating an estimate that displays the total amount at the bottom of all items rather than for each line item.

Although the amount on each line item is meant to indicate the total amount for that specific item, I understand that you prefer to show the total amount for all items. Unfortunately, this option is currently unavailable. However, you can still achieve this by following the steps mentioned by my colleague earlier, which involves adding an item with "Total" as the description and entering the total amount of all items.
