Question

In quickbooks desktop, we could set unit prices in invoices. $2.00 x 12 units = $24/case Can we do this for qbo? I can only set rates, not each prices.

You were using QB Desktop Premier, correct? You need a 3rd party app with UoM feature to integrate with QBO. Otherwise, consider switching back to QB Desktop Premier.

 Hello there, Kevin.

Yes, 4Gal is right. You may also use a third-party app with the UoM feature to integrate into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I understand that there are features in QuickBooks Desktop that aren't yet available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to customize each unit price when creating an invoice. For this reason, I'm encouraging you to send feedback to our engineers. This way, they can create some changes in future updates.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3.  Enter your product comments and suggestions, then click Next to submit.

I added an article to help you track your QuickBooks Online feedback request for reference: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.

In the meantime, you can visit this article to learn how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
