I have two Quickbooks companies and I am trying to import the COA from one to the other. In one COA, income is called Income, in the other, income is called Revenue. Why is this???  I guess it doesn't really matter but I think it's a bit crazy.

Let me clear things up, @BellevueBookkeper.

Do your QuickBooks companies have the same company type, version, or region? The titles and terms in the chart of accounts may vary depending on these factors.

Also, I want to share a helpful link with you that provides more information on revenue and income: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/r/revenue/understanding-top-bottom-line-difference-net-revenue-net-inc...

Moreover, if you want to learn more about the chart of accounts, I suggest reading this article: Learn about the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

I'm still all ears if you have any other concerns related to your chart of accounts. Feel free to leave a comment below.
