Integrating Custom Gift Cards and POS

I am looking into vendors for custom gift cards and am wondering how they are integrated into QuickBooks?

Let me share some information on how to integrate gift cards in your account, @TSyed. 

 

You can enroll in Gift Card service managed by Givex. It offers QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) gift cards with customized designs. To know the benefits and the gift card pricing, check this link.

 

Also, you can request a free trial to know more on how to integrate it.

     All you need to do is tell us which POS system you are using and we almost certainly know how to number/encode the cards so they will properly interface with your POS System. If you don't have a POS system, we can help with that too. We can also help you design a custom gift or loyalty card

      Are there other venders that integrate?  I've tried for days to connect with Givex and no one answers the phones or returns voicemail...whats up?

      Hi there, @urbandog1. 

       

      Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I'm happy to provide some insight into vendors that integrate with POS. 

       

      You'll need to search for vendors and ask them if they can integrate with POS. There are several other vendors that will integrate. I can see how easy it would be if we had a feature that obtained the list of approved vendors that integrate with POS, but at this time, we don't have one available. 

       

      If you choose to stick with Givex, you'll need to continue to try contacting their support team as we have no way of connecting you to them.

      So we cannot confirm gift cards actually work in QB.  If so I'd like to hear from those how they like it?

      We currently use GiveX. Do you know if they offer an option to get the gift card online? We are currently mailing them.

      I recommend contacting GiveX support to identify the available options you can use for the gift cards. They currently have 24/7 customer service to help answer questions and provide clarifications about it.
