It's nice to see you in the Community, VossGS.

It is crucial to ensure that the inventory quantity record in QuickBooks Online (QBO) accurately reflects the actual information on hand. We'll have to modify the quantity and input the correct number to fix the issue.

Here's how:

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), tap the New menu in the upper-left and choose Inventory qty adjustment under Other.
  2. Enter the date in the Adjustment date field.
  3. Click the Inventory adjustment account drop-down and select the appropriate account.
  4. Type the item name in the Product field.
  5. Enter either a new quantity or a change in quantity.
  6. In the Memo field, key in the details about the adjustment.
  7. Press the Save and close button.
