Question

Invoices are being sent OK with my Gmail account, but not displaying in my Gmail "Sent" folder. Why don't they show in my Sent folder when they are being sent ok?

The "From" address is xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx and not my Gmail address. Not sure if that  matters.

It's nice to have you here in the Community, @ebikesne. I'll be happy to address your concern about not being able to see the invoice in the Gmail sent folder. 

 

The reason why you can't see the sent folder in Gmail is that you are using QuickBooks Online (QBO) to send the invoice. However, you can verify if the email was successful through the Audit log.

 

As a workaround, you can check the option to email me a copy to receive a copy of the sent invoice.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon or Settings.
  2. Select Sales.
  3. Find and select Messages.
  4. Check the email me a copy.
  5. Select Done.

I have connected my Gmail account 3 times and tested it by selecting it in the Invoice drop down, but the email still keep being sent using the Intuit account. I have connected through Gmail and logged into Gmail through Intuit but it will not use my Gmail account as the sender even when it is selected when sending an Invoice. Something is blocking my Gmail from being used. Any ideas? You can see in my screenshot that my Gmail account is selected.
