My level of trust in Quickbooks is diminishing quickly with this software. Quickbooks is making my company and invoicing practices look like idiots. The cost of additional labor dealing with our customers far exceeds the amount we are paying for this software. Intuit has zero care to the damage it is doing regarding our reputation’s with our clients. The typical “boiler plate” response and follow ups that “We care” from Intuit is such a joke.

I also suddenly have this issue.

Item prices show normally, but anywhere that should show the estimate total is just blank, when I try to download it print it.

It shows properly on screen, while working in QuickBooks.

Thanks for joining on this thread, Pura. You can try trouble shooting your QuickBooks account for the totals will show in the invoice. I'd be glad to provide you the steps.

Since it shows properly on screen when you download it and print it, you can consider logging out and into your QuickBooks. I'd suggest doing some trouble shooting steps. Sometimes, cache-related issues can cause QuickBooks Online (QBO) to load incorrectly, preventing your invoice total not showing.

Here are the key shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you can successfully log in using a private browser, go to your regular browser and clear its cache.

Additionally, you can personalize your sales forms and add specific info to your forms.

Let me know if you still have concerns about invoices, don't hesitate to comment. I'm here to help.

We truly understand how important for you as a business owner to send a reliable and accurate total invoice amount, NextLevelFence.

I agree with the answer of the previous support provided in this thread that, there's a possibility when the browser contains many frequently accessed page resources, it can lead to errors or unexpected responses. With this, we can perform certain troubleshooting actions to sort out the issue.

Let's start by accessing your QBO account via a private browser window. This will prevent websites from utilizing cookies and will not save any browsing history.

To open an incognito window, use the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser:

  • Safari: Command + Option + N
  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

For additional information, there's a new update with the invoices and estimates in QuickBooks Online that may also affect the performance of the software as of the moment.

If you're now able to view the total amount of the invoice number while using the private browser, you can now clear your browser's cache by following the instructions in the article, clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Otherwise, you can contact the live expert support as they have a lot of tools to address this matter directly.

Furthermore, if the issue has already fixed, you can check out this article to personalize your invoices professionally: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Lastly, if you're looking for additional support to expand your knowledge of managing invoices up to reconciling transactions in QBO effectively, we recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted service. They're ready to help understand and guide you in managing each transaction.
