My account is set up with accepting credit cards and debit cards but each time I add a customer or make a new invoice this is turned off. I have to manually turn it on. Customer service does not know what to do to fix this.

I'm here to help you keep the Credit Card payment option toggled on in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @emacgray.

As of posting, we haven't received any related reports about the Credit Card payment option turning off after setting up your account to accept credit card payments.

To resolve this unusual behavior of the program, let's troubleshoot your browser to isolate if this is a cache-related issue. Please log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account on an incognito or private browser window using these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Then, create an invoice again to see if the Credit Card option is on. If it is, clear your browser's cache to remove specific issues and help the program run efficiently. Also, you can use other devices and supported browsers to ensure everything works as expected.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our support team for a thorough investigation. They have the tools and expertise to safely access your account and identify the root cause of the problem.
