Question

Is anyone having issues with the price rules not working anymore? I'm having to manually enter pricing for certain groups because it is no longer pulling the right price?

It is currently unavailable with the new layout experience, @arl1231.

At this time, you can still create and manage Price Rules within the program. However, the new layout of the sales forms in QuickBooks Online doesn't support the automatic application when generating transactions yet.

For now, I suggest sending your feedback to our product developers so they can review it and might consider implementing it in the future. Please know that changes are also based on how popular a specific feature request is. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Type in your feedback and product suggestions.
  4. Click Next to submit them.

Additionally, you can check out this article for helpful insights on the products and services you buy and sell: Use reports to see your sales and inventory status.

Please let me know if you need further information about the price rules feature. Just leave your reply below, and I'll be right with you. Stay safe.

@arl1231

Consider using a CRM app to integrate with QBO as a workaround.

Yes, you can find threads on this forum from months ago of customers complaining that price rules are not usable on the new invoice layout and informing Quickbooks that this would essentially break the functionality of invoices for us.

Quickbooks was aware, acknowledged that they knew they would be removing an essential function from their software, and then did it anyway.
