I can help you recover the information in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

If you accidentally deleted the names from your company file, you can utilize the Audit log to get the information of the deleted names and recreate it. This report helps you keep track of added, deleted, and modified transactions, as well as user entries. It allows you to see the history of changes made to individual transactions or a range of multiple transactions. It can be customized by using the Filter tool to narrow down the data.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
  2. Click Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. Select Apply.
  5. Locate the deleted transaction.
  6. Under the History column, click View.
  7. Below the EVENT column, you'll see the information needed for the transaction.
