Is there a limit to the number of Sub accounts in reports?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO) you can create up to five subaccounts under a parent account. These subaccounts allow you to organize your financial data efficiently. If you've added six subaccounts to a parent account but only five are showing up in your report, there could be a few reasons for this discrepancy.  

First, check if any of the subaccounts are inactive. To verify this, go to the Chart of Accounts and look for them under the parent account. If you want to see your inactive accounts, follow these steps:

1. Select Settings ⚙, then select Chart of accounts.
2. Next to the printer icon, select the Settings ⚙ icon.
3. Select the Include inactive checkbox.

Secondly, ensure that no specific filters are applied to the report. Sometimes filters can unintentionally exclude certain accounts. When you run reports, you’ll still see inactive accounts and their transactions. QuickBooks includes them to keep everything accurate. You can also customize some reports to hide inactive accounts.

Lastly, please note that different subscription tiers have varying limits on the number of accounts and subaccounts.
