Question

Is there a reason the invoice search filter on the app is the worst search filter I have ever used? Cannot find invoices by date, and it is missing all newer invoices.

There is it search by date filter. When typing a customer name into the search box it finds no results. When scrolling through years of invoices, I see nothing but older years and my new customer’s invoice is no where to be found.

Hi there, sales293.

Let me turn around your experience in locating your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

There are certain procedures we can proceed to eliminate these common problems using the application. In this, we can start by clearing the app data of your application to refresh it and eliminate common errors that could cause the following issues mentioned above.

To start, please ensure you're connected to the internet then perform the steps below:

For iOS:

  1. Tap the Menu ☰ and click the Help & Feedback.
  2. Click the Refresh Data.
  3. To confirm, click Refresh.

For Android:

  1. Select the menu at the top right and choose Settings.
  2. Then select Refresh Data and choose Yes.

After that, go back to your Invoice list and locate the transactions using the search filter.

If the same thing happens, we can access your account by logging this on your mobile or desktop browsers. Simply go to this link and enter your login credentials: qbo.intuit.com

Let me know if you have more queries about locating invoices and managing transactions. I’m just a few clicks away.

Hello,

I was referring to the mobile app. The invoice search on the app is useless. It’s just every invoice over all time jumbled into one list. The filter on the app doesn’t work or my app, for some reason, doesn’t have all of my invoices. I can search for a customer and it comes up blank like that customer doesn’t exist even though they do. There’s also no way to search or order by invoice date - which, in my opinion, would be the primary way that one would want to sort. The app is just horrible!
