Welcome to the Community space, elvis7. It's nice to have a new presence joining us. I'm here to ensure you can add processing fees when your customer chooses to pay via credit card.

We can create a service item and manually add it to your invoices. This way, you can attach processing fees. Here's how:

  1. Choose Sales and Product & Service.
  2. Click on New, then select Service
  3. Enter the name of your service item.(Example: Credit Card Fee)
  4. Select the account you'd use to track the processing fees.
  5. Once done, click Save and Close.

Once done, we can add it as an additional item on your invoice when charging your customers the processing fee. I'll show you how:

  1. On the Invoice page, enter the necessary details.
  2. Add another line item, and from the Product or Service drop-down column, choose the charge convenience fee you created.
  3. Hit Save and Close.

Additionally, you can explore other third-party applications to automatically add credit card fees when your customer pays through CC. You can find one via the QuickBooks App Store

I remain available to address any additional questions you may have regarding the management of your customers' payment methods, elvis7. Please do not hesitate to reach out with specific inquiries, and I will make every effort to provide you with the necessary guidance. I'm here to support you in ensuring you can successfully add processing fees to your customers' transactions.
