Question

Is there a way to change the “Note to customers” message on invoices? My prior warranty memo is now “thank you for your business” since the template update.

I am asking for invoices, not sales forms. I’ve attempted to alter it to my preferred warranty disclosure on the desktop version, but the change does not reflect utilizing the mobile app.

Hi there, stevesappliancea.

Yes, there are different ways to set up or change customer messages on invoices in QuickBooks Online, and I can see that you tried changing it in your web browser.

Since you mentioned that the changes are not syncing in the QuickBooks Online Mobile app, we can isolate the issue by performing some troubleshooting steps. Let's begin by clearing the app's data on your mobile device.

If you're using an iOS device:

  1. In your QBO mobile app, select the Gear icon.
  2. Choose the Refresh Data menu.
  3. Tap Yes.

If you're using an Android device:

  1. Go to Settings and select Apps.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online and click on Storage.
  3. Select Clear Data.

Once done, restart your phone and reopen the mobile app to check if the invoice message now appears. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Online app. This ensures that you are using the most recent version of the application.

If it still not showing, you can also send us a screenshot of how it looks on your mobile app so we can look into this further.

Feel free to add more details by leaving a comment below. I'll make sure to check on your next response. Keep safe!
