Is there a way to change the order of the expenses on the P & L? I want all payroll expenses in one section.

Is there a way to change the order of the expenses on the P & L? I want all payroll expenses in one section by themselves, all COGS in one section and the rest in one section, so I can see totals on those three "buckets"

Hi there, smokincousins. Allow me to go into detail about changing the order of expenses on the P & L in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Currently, changing the order of how your expenses show on the report isn't possible. You'll want to export your reports to Excel. From there, you'll have the flexibility to edit and customize it according to your preferences.
