Hello @kaycee1,
Welcome to the Community. I can help you run the report to filter customers with no recent sales history.
I suggest you use Sales by Customer Summary to acquire the data you need. You can customize the report to show customers with zero and non-zero amounts.
I know you only need the data for old customers with no recent sales history. However, the option to only show zero figures is unavailable.
As a workaround, I recommend exporting the report to Excel and manually remove the unnecessary data. Here's how:
- On the left panel, click Reports.
- Scroll down and select Sales by Customer Summary.
- Choose a date range.
- Under Display columns by, select Months.
- Below Show non-zero or active only, choose All for the rows and columns.
- Filter the necessary options.
- Press the Export icon.
- Select Export to Excel.

You're correct about making customers inactive. As of now, the only way to do it is by going to each one of them in the system.
I've also attached an article you can use to get the most out of your financial reports in QuickBooks: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know if you need anything else. The Community and I will be here to help you.
