Question

Is there a way to get rid of the Sales Tax view on a customer invoice while still calculating sales taxes for taxable items only? Is there a flat rate customer invoice?

Welcome to the Community, @robert161.

I understand the importance of removing the Sales Tax View on your customer invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me share an insight about this feature you want to have in your QuickBooks account.

Currently, the option to remove the customer view for Sales Tax is unavailable. For now, I suggest sending feedback. Your feedback will help us improve your QBO experience

Here's how:

  1. At the upper right corner, click the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile, select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then, select Next to submit a feedback.

For more details about the feedback process, you can check this article: Submit Feedback.

You can also check this to track your request: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.

However, if you mean a different Sales Tax view, can you provide me a screenshot of what you specifically mean? Any additional information would help me check for solutions to address your concerns better.

For future reference, you can check this article to guide you on how to process payments for invoices: Take and process payments.

Feel free to leave a comment below. If you have any other concerns on how to remove the Sales Tax view or other QBO-related concerns. I'll be here to assist you.
