Is there a way yo change our address so it changes on all invoices and not just random ones?

I changed our business address but it doesn't change on customers end. Still showing old address on certain invoices.

Warm welcome, gwrservices. I understand you want to change and update your address on all your invoices. 

 

Before anything else, please know that when you update your address in the company settings, it will only apply to future invoices.

 

Meanwhile, if you find that your new address is not appearing when you create and print an invoice, we should check your template first to see if it has been updated.

 

  1. Hover to the Gear icon, then select Custom form styles
  2. Double-click the invoice template or standard.
  3. Click the Content tab and tap the upper part. 
  4. Click the Address, then update it and hit Done. 

 

Now, you can create your invoices and send them to your customers.

 

On the other hand, if the issue persists, let's open your QuickBooks account in a private window to rule out any browser-related issues. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl+ Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

 

If it works, return to your regular browser and clear your cache. Occasionally, the accumulated cache and cookies in the system can become outdated or corrupted, leading to unexpected behaviors. You can also switch to other installed supported browsers, which is a good alternative.

 

Moreover, if you've received a payment from your customer, you can record it in QuickBooks to mark the invoice as paid
