I know how precious time is for you and the relevance of your funds, Jane. I'm here to help you locate your funds and make sure everything is resolved smoothly.

To start, if you're using QuickBooks Online Payments, your first deposits take a little extra time as we establish your account. Once set up, the deposits are made within two business days. It's important to note that some banks may require additional time to process transactions. You can check this article for reference: Common Questions about Payments deposits in QBO. Also, this timeframe can depend on when you enter transactions, the bank you choose, and the duration it takes for the bank to verify and process electronic deposits.

For online credit card payments, expect an estimated deposit time of 5-7 banking days. During your first month with ACH payments, the processing time might extend slightly. In most cases, you'll receive payments within five days for the initial 1 to 4 weeks. For more detailed information, kindly refer to the article: Discover when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

In case you're manually recording the payments, you might have chosen the Undeposited Funds as the Deposit to account. Here's how to deposit these payments:

  1. Go to the + New and then select Bank Deposit.
  2. Select the bank account you wish to deposit the payments.
  3. In the Received from column, select the invoice/payment.
  4. Once done, click on Save and close.

For reference, you can check this article: Record and make bank deposits.
