job profitability per hour worked

Does anyone know how I can create a report that tells me how much the jobs profited per hour worked?

Basically, I would like to find a way to combine the "Time by Job Summary" report with the "Job Profitability Summary" report and possibly divide the profit by the time.

I am running Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. 

 

Although we don't have the exact report you're looking for, we do have the option to customize the reports how you see fit, then export them to Excel and add them together. This way, you're getting both reports into one. 

 

I've covered some steps below to export the reports. 

 

  1. Open the Reports. 
  2. Customize them as you see fit. 
  3. At the top of the reports, click on the Excel drop-down to export. 

 

Then, combine the reports in Excel. That should do the trick! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this process.
