making the "other" field print on report

You can easily add a custom field to the report by adding it as a column. However, not all reports can show custom fields. For more information, please proceed to the Add custom name and item fields to reports section of this article: Create and use custom fields in QuickBooks Desktop. 

Since you've mentioned that you've already added the Other field in the report but can't include the column when printing it, you can reselect the columns to reset the data attempt to print again. Let me guide you how:

1. In your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), go to the Reports menu.
2. Then, open the report you need.
3. Once done, click the Customize Report button and go to the Display tab.
4. In the Columns field, uncheck and recheck the columns you need (include the Other column). 
5. When finished, select OK.
6. After that, click the Print icon and choose Report.
7. In the Print Reports window, adjust the printer settings.
8. Next, to verify if you can now see the Other column, you can select the Preview button. I've added a screenshot for reference: 
9. Once everything is fine, click Print.
