Similar to QB Desktop, I want to add a "markup" column to my estimate template. I want the ability to manipulate the markup for each item directly from the estimate. Can that be accomplished?

I understand how significant it is to add a markup column in an Estimate, Gambit. To help determine the difference between cost and selling price. I'm here to assist you with your concern.

Please note that adding a markup column to an estimate is not currently available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). The markup feature in QBO is designed for billable items, which is why it cannot be included in an estimate. However, as a workaround, you can create a markup by adding a markup item as a line item. To do this, you'll need to create a specific service item for the markup and include it as a line item in your estimate.

Moreover, I recommend submitting your request directly to our product engineers through our feedback system. Your input is essential in helping us enhance our product features.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.
