Question

Many customers can't view estimates when emailed. They recieve prompts like "unsecure link" or "page not available" does this happen to anyone else? Could you fix it?

Hi there, muscatinegutters. Let me assist you in resolving the challenges your customers encounter when viewing the estimates you send.

Before that, you can let your customers confirm whether the email they received was from Intuit. If so, I suggest clearing their browser cache to ensure that they'll access the link successfully.

Sometimes, cache-related issues can cause QuickBooks Online (QBO) to load incorrectly, preventing your customers from viewing their estimates.

Here are some steps that can resolve unexpected results in QBO:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If they can successfully log in using a private browser, let them go to their regular browser and clear their cache.

Furthermore, you can refer to this article to learn how to convert an estimate to an invoice in QBO: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QBO.

Leave a comment if your customers are still unable to view the estimate. I'm always here to help.
