I am employed at Company A, which has a subsidiary called Company B. I need to consolidate all the expenses from Company B into Company A, as Company B is set to close soon. How can I transfer all of Company B's expenses to Company A for the past year ?

I understand the importance of merging your two companies, Vishnu.

I'm here to share some information about transferring all of Company B's expenses to Company A for the past year.

At this time, the ability to merge two company data files into one company is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. Each company is created as a separate file and can't be combined, but you can manually input the data into the company you want to keep.

There are also lists that you can export from Company B and import to Company A, to learn more about it, please the resources below:

Alternatively, you can use a third-party importer or converter tool app, just follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Apps on the left panel.
  2. Type a keyword or click the Browse category drop-down menu.
  3. Select Sync Data and you'll find all the importer apps that can be integrated into your QuickBooks Online account.
  4. Click the app to see the key benefits hit the Get app now and follow the instructions to connect.

Please let me know in your reply if you require additional information about the process or other concerns. I'll be right here to help. Take care!

@Vishnu CS

You can purchase a 3rd party data merge service or use a migration tool.
