Messed up transaction upload to incorrect date. Can't edit date.

I recently uploaded a transaction, and I'm trying to match it to my invoices. However, the transaction uploads with a 1969 date and I can't edit.

What did you do to the software? You are really pissing me off.

Modifying the date of your bank transactions is an essential part of ensuring accuracy in your records, Vasquez. I'd like to inform you that there's a way to do this in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and I'm here to show you how.

After uploading your bank transactions, it will go under the For Review tab so you can categorize or match it. To edit the date, you'll have to enable the Editable date field option in the bank feeds.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions and click Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the bank account and navigate to the For Review tab.
  3. Click the Gear icon and put a checkmark beside the Editable date field option.

Moving forward, you'll want to ensure that the date format of your CSV file is accurate. Learn more by reading this article: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Additionally, I recommend regularly reconciling your QBO accounts with your actual bank statements to ensure they align accurately.

The advice does not work. Even after doing what you mention, the dates don't change and match to 1969.

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR SOFTWARE!!
