Mid Year 2023 Opened New Credit Card Due to Fraud Actvity. Now 2022 Information is gone. How do I reconcile?

Hi there, @shilau. I'm here to shed some light on reconciling in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

One of the reasons your data in 2022 was deleted is that you've disconnected your credit card after experiencing a fraud issue. However, if you want to retrieve those entries, you can connect your card again. Then, sign in to your bank's website and follow their instruction to download your transactions as CSV file. Once done, let's import the data into the program and categorize them.

 

It's important to note that reconciliation isn't supported in QBSE since this software is designed for tracking income and expenses, mileage, and preparing taxes for self-employed individuals. If you want to reconcile your bank statement, you can consider subscribing to QuickBooks Online since it supports this functionality.
