Missing totals from JE??

Is anyone else missing the totals on the JE screen in Desktop 2024?  It appears in the 2021 version but I upgraded recently and the totals, to verify the equal balances are missing.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and sharing a screenshot of your concern. This will help us better understand the issues with the Journal Entry totals.

 

We haven't received reports from other users getting the same challenges as yours when upgrading from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2021 to 2024.

 

To ensure your company file is in good condition, check if QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release. Once verified, let's do the Verify/Rebuild Utility process. This troubleshooting helps diagnose and fix unexpected issues in a company file. 

 

To run the Verify Data utility:  

 

  1. Go to the File menu, then select Utilities
  2. Click Verify Data
  3. If there are issues found, you’ll be prompted to Rebuild Now

 

Here’s how to run the Rebuild utility:  

 

  1. Go to the File menu, then select Utilities
  2. Choose Rebuild Data
  3. Click on Ok once Rebuild has been completed.
