Moving items from upload and review bills to receipt managment is not working

When a bill or receipt comes into the wrong queue, there is an option to move it to the other.  So, if a copy of a check comes in to Upload and Review Bills and I need it in Receipt Management there is an option to move it.  But every time I've done this (I have tried moving items in both directions) the item gets stuck in processing and never gets in the queue where I can open it and enter the transaction.  I've waited days, closed and opened QB and my software is updated.  Does anyone know how to make this function work?

Hello @GaryACK, thanks for sharing with us the details about managing your uploaded bills and moving them to Receipt Management.

 

It's unexpected to see that the option to move uploaded bills using the Upload and Review Bills feature to the Receipt Management suddenly didn't work. Let's run a system check by utilizing the verify and rebuild tool to determine system errors and let QuickBooks fix them.

 

Here's how to rebuild:

  1. From the File menu, select Utilities, then choose Rebuild Data.
  2. Select OK if you receive a prompt to back up your company file.
  3. Select Close or View Results when you get the message Rebuild has completed and proceed with the next step.

 

Then let's verify your data:

  1. Under the File menu, select Utilities, then choose Verify Data.
  2. Hit OK when you see the message QuickBooks detected no problem with your data
  3. If Verify finds an issue with your data, you will be prompted to Rebuild Now or View Errors.

 

Once you're finished with this system check, try to move the uploaded bills in the Receipt Management feature.

Unfortunately, this did not work.  The images that I moved from Bills to Receipts are stuck in Processing.  I can see them but the only options are to wait or delete.  I see no way to recover the images once this happens.

 

The rebuild and verify identified some errors.  Encryption table errors have been there for years but we have no credit card data stored in our file.  Also "QBDBPF Log File monitor Service not running locally" errors came up.  I'm not sure what this means but we are not multi-user (we were years ago in this file).  All updates have been made.

We have the same problem and there is NO GOOD SOLUTION!!!!!   This needs repairing in Quickbooks!
