I'll guide you on how you can check which client made a deposit, User.

You'll be able to determine who made a deposit once the invoice gets paid and the payment is reflected in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Usually, we deposit your funds within five business days after your first payment. Your first deposit may take a little bit longer while we set up your merchant account. However, this will be quicker and will be within two business days moving forward.

You can access your Merchant Services Center the check the deposit transactions. Here's how.

  1. Go to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Under Activity & Reports, click Deposits to see who made the deposits.

You'll also want to use the Deposit Detail report in QuickBooks to show selected transactions and other transactions they are linked to, such as invoices and payments. To run the report, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Reports tab, and search Deposit Detail.
  2. Switch to Classic view.
  3. Choose the correct report period.
  4. Click Run report.

Moreover, learn how you can reconcile an account to ensure that the actual amount of money spent matches the amount shown that is leaving an account at the end of a fiscal year. Read this article for more details: Reconcile An Account In QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have any other concerns with payments or deposits received from your clients. I'm always right here to help you.
