I have multiple clients, mainly autopay clients that keep showing ad deleted. I have not deleted them and nobody else has access to my account. What's going on?

Hello there, @andersonpoolsofa.

I'll lend a hand to sort out your query about your clients in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

A client's name is listed as deleted when they're already inactive. I recommend pulling up the Audit log report to see when and who made the client inactive. Here's how

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Audit log under Tools.
  2. Click the Filter button and select the appropriate user, date, and event(s).
  3. Tick Apply.
  4. Select View under History to see further details about the modification.
  5. From there, remember the details of the transaction.

On the other hand, if the client has not been inactive, we can perform some troubleshooting steps by accessing your account in a private browser. Historical data stored from your browser causes issues like this. Feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito window, depending on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If it works well, you can return to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported, up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.
