My credit card link disconnected. Now when I try to connect it my chart of account won't show up. What do I need to do?

For some reason the chart of account number associated with the credit card doesnt show up in the drop down box. I don't want to link it and import entries to the wrong number. Why is it not showing up and what do I need to do to relink it? I see the COA in QBO.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Willow. I'll make sure you can reconnect your card after being disconnected.

If you're having trouble seeing your card on your banking page, I suggest linking your card to your COA.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙, then select Chart of accounts.
  2. In the Action column, click the View register ▼ dropdown. Then tick Connect bank.
  3. Search the name of your bank in the Search field, then select the bank.
  4. Enter your Sign info in the Login and Password fields, then click Continue.
  5. Choose the account that you want to connect and date to pull transactions from the dropdown ▼. Then, select Next.
  6. Select your account type on the Account type ▼ dropdown, then select Next.

Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QBO.
