Good day.

Let me share some information about invoice templates and charts of accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, invoice templates will not affect the accounts except the Account Receivables. However, if you're referring to your Products and services that need correcting, we can easily edit those. For more details, visit this guide: Change product and service item types in QuickBooks Online

To rectify your Chart of account codes, if you mean the account numbers, follow these outlined steps:

  1. Go to the Chart of accounts page.
  2. Choose the Pencil icon above the Action column.
  3. Edit the account numbers that need changing.
  4. Click Save

However, if you're implying a different account code, may I know the specifics of it? This way, I can fully provide you with accurate resolutions. I'll be waiting for your response.

Furthermore, I've added this article about organizing your accounts in QBO: Create subaccounts in your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online
