Thanks for reaching us with this concern, Toddvu35. Let me help you fix your invoices so you can get back on track with your customers.

If the invoice payment that you received from your customer is the one with the Deposited status, then we only need to delete the other 2 payment transactions on the invoices with Paid status. Doing so will change their status to Open again, and you will be able to receive payments on those invoices. Here's how we can do this:

  1. Go to Customers & Leads.
  2. Select Customers. Find the customer you received the payment from.
  3. Open the invoice mistakenly labeled as Paid by clicking Edit
  4. Click the payments hyperlink.
  5. Click More and then Delete.

You can refer to these screenshots for visual reference:

On the other hand, if the payment that you received from your customer is the one with the Paid status, follow the same steps as mentioned earlier to change the status of the second invoice marked as Paid. As for the third invoice with a Deposited status, it means that the transaction has already been matched to another transaction. That's why it is labeled as Deposited. You might also want to review the transaction first before committing another action. If this is incorrect, you can undo this by following these steps:

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Select Bank Transactions.
  3. From the Categorized tab, find the transaction in question and then click Undo.

I'll include this helpful resource that contains additional information on receiving payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

What's more, you can personalize the appearance and layout of your sales forms. Here's an article to help you: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Come back to this thread anytime if you have more questions about managing your invoices and any QuickBooks-related matters. I'll be on the lookout. Have a good one!
