New Invoice Issues

Has Quickbooks/Intuit made a press release about the new invoice layout and addressing the documented issues? It proved to be a big enough issue to our workflow that we were wondering if the users here can think of any media networks that would cover the customer response to the invoice rollout.

We know right here in Palo Alto CA where Intuit is probably headquartered could be a good place to start with local media, but if there are any other suggestions please let us know. Also, if you'd like to compile your specific complaints about the new invoice layout here, that would be great.

Thanks

We understand how updates are relevant for you and your business, PBJ10.

As QuickBooks aims to provide a new invoicing layout experience that helps you land jobs and get paid faster, our product design team has made enhancements to ensure users have streamlined procedures when managing customer sales transactions. Intuit has notified users about its date effectivity and the new rolled-out features through this article: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.

With that, you can visit our QuickBooks Online Blog site so you'll be able to get the latest news about QuickBooks and what our Product Care Team is working on.

Additionally, you can send your valuable feedback directly to our product engineers to work on its progress in including your suggestions in future product updates. Here's how to send feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Enter your product suggestions or feedback.
  3. Then, click Next to submit.

Moreover, you can utilize this resource to help you track and enter customer-paid invoices: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Just let me know in the comments below if you require further help when managing invoices in your file. I'll be around to back you up. Take care and have a great day ahead!

@FateCandylaneT No, this does not address our question. We are asking where has Quickbooks/Intuit addressed the negative customer backlash to the new invoice and reporting layout.

My colleague is referencing Quickbooks/Intuit's response, or lack thereof, to our local Bay Area NBC news station as a reason as to why their firm, as well as others, are leaving Quickbooks.

Thank you for again suggesting that we submit our feedback directly to the product engineers regarding how we will not be able to use the new invoicing layout, but we have been doing that already since 2023 with no response. And the Quickbooks team's replies here on this forum about "enhancements" and "streamlined improvements" are only dismissive of the feedback we and other customers have been providing for months.

So, if there is a general press release from Intuit/Quickbooks directly addressing what is currently being done regarding the overwhelming negative customer feedback seen here on this forum, please direct us to where we can find that. Otherwise, my colleague is just using the Quickbooks responses on this forum to show that Quickbooks does not seem concerned that they have recently made their product unusable for many of their customers.

The above response from @FateCandylaneT  proves that there is no other way that they have addressed anything about the "New" layout.

Intuit/ QB can't seem to, and won't take responsibility for this menagerie they have created.  They don't ever seem to acknowledge that they were wrong in changing anything. And the fact that MANY QB users have had issues for months on end, as they slowly rolled out the new layout, and have complained about it and asked for the old back, is proof they don't care and aren't listening.

Hi PBJ10

I could write a book on the turmoil the new invoice template has caused me. How do I reach you via phone to explain. Thinking of calling a lawyer on Tuesday.
