Note on AR Report

Is there a way to note collection efforts on reports and to have those notes printed on the report? We leave notes on the customers accounts in the note section, but are needing a way to leave them on the report. I leave comments on the report, but those comments do not print when printing the report.

To enable the inclusion of notes or comments on printed Accounts Receivable reports is unavailable because it's based on individual transactions, Mika. Let’s discuss it in detail below.

 

However, you can pull up different report, such as the Customer Contact List, to view the notes you've added to the customer profiles. Additionally, you can consider exporting both reports to Excel and merging the data before printing. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu, then select List.
  2. Choose Customer Contact List.
  3. Click Customize Report. Under the Columns section enter notes and note, and check both.
  4. Select OK.
  5. From the Excel menu dropdown, click Create New Worksheet to view and print the report on Excel.
