I am running the Online QB report "Profit and Loss Report" for this year 2023.    The report for one account is flashing.

I have the latest version of Chrome browser.    The "Balance Sheet" report does not have this problem.

Additionally, the P&L Report is not responding when I try to export that one account.

Hello, NewPLReportProblem. Let's check if this is due to your browser issue with the Profit and loss report not responding.

If you are experiencing issues with the Profit and Loss report not responding, the issue may be related to your browser. One of the first steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue is to open your QuickBooks account using an incognito or private browser window. This will prevent your browser from using cached data or extensions that may interfere with the report's functionality. To open an incognito or private browser window:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
  • Control + Option +P if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Microsoft Edge

Once you have opened the incognito or private browser, log in to your QuickBooks account and rerun the Profit and Loss report. If the report is not freezing, the problem is likely related to temporary internet files stored in your browsing application.

Return to the regular browsing session and delete your temporary internet files once they work correctly. I suggest clearing your browser cache and cookies. This will remove any stored data causing conflicts with the report. Additionally, you can try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, specific browsers may not be compatible with certain report features. It's also important to update your browser with the latest version. Outdated browsers can cause issues with website functionality, including reports.
