Open a new account

I'm glad to help you today so you'll be able to open a new account successfully. However, I'd like to gather additional details to give you the right amount of information. 

Are you trying to create a new QuickBooks account/company or, a new account from the chart of accounts?

If you want to open a new QuickBooks account:

1. Open this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.
2. Select your country and you'll be directed to your region's website.
3. Choose the version of QuickBooks Online that you need.
4. Select to Buy Now or start a Free Trial.
5. Fill in the necessary information on the Create an Intuit account or Sign up page.
6. Click Sign In or Add another account if you have an existing QBO account and want to use the same credentials. If not, click on Choose a different user ID to create a new one.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue the process.

On the other hand, if you want to add a new account from the chart of accounts, check out these steps:

1. Select Chart of accounts from the Gear icon.
2. Tap on New from the Chart of Accounts window.
3. Choose the account type and detail type as well as the account name.
4. Enter the rest of the information, then click on Save and Close.

If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account, you have to pay the regular rate.
