Question

Over half of my customers disappeared from my list? Someone please help. I have a window tinting business & have return customers all the time but now their info is gone.

When I go to QuickBooks in my web browser, all of my customers are there. But not on my mobile app.

Let's troubleshoot this together to recover your customers' information from your list in your QuickBooks Online mobile app.

 

First, ensure to have a strong internet connection and that your app is up-to-date. Then, proceed to clear the application data to ensure your QBO app works properly. Here's how:

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to your phone's settings.
  2. Select General, then choose iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap QuickBooks Online from the application list.
  4. Click Offload App to free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to your phone's settings,
  2. Choose Apps (varies by device).
  3. Select QuickBooks Online from the application list.
  4. Go to the Storage section, then tap Clear Data.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. In the meantime, I recommend doing your QBO tasks through your mobile browser rather than within the app. If you use an iPhone, access it through Safari and Chrome or other available mobile browser for Android.
