PayPal Payment - Sales Receipt - Change Product

There have been many payments through PayPal, and they were all attached to the product "PayPal Sales" and are all part of deposits.

They are really for about four different products.  I would like to change the product to be more specific and match the real product.   What's the easiest way to change this (in an automated way if possible).  Also, for one of them, the vendor name was not specified. I can't change this either without running into an error.

For now, you can only change it manually and individually. I can see how this functionality would be useful for you. You'll want to send feedback to our Product Design Team. We'd like to have this opportunity to improve your QuickBooks experience. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the upper-right and click Feedback.
  3. Enter the details on what feature you'll want to suggest.
  4. Click Next.

For updates, you can visit our QuickBooks Blog and be posted with what's new on QuickBooks.

I'll be here if there's anything else that you need help with. Take care and have a great day!

Ok, looks like I can change one at a time by clicking on the account in the chart of accounts, running a report, clicking on it, then changing the product.  Still would be good to be able to do this in an automated way based on price, but at least I can change them.

Ok thanks.  Also, I just realized that one thing that was giving me trouble previously was that due to the way PayPal processes transactions, they would come in as either $21 or $20 + a $1 fee and so I had to adjust the product price to match the price coming in from PayPal.
