pdf versions of reports

Quickbooks generated pdf versions of reports only have the correct formatting on the first page.

Thanks for taking the time to share your concern here in the Community space, @jamescole97.

 

I've got some troubleshooting for you to perform to fix your pdf reports issues in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

The first thing we can do is to update your Adobe Reader/Acrobat. For a detailed process, check out this link: Adobe website.

 

Once you've already updated to the latest version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat and it hasn't fixed the problem, you'll want to repair your Adobe installation. Here's how:

 

  1. Close Acrobat/Reader and all open web browser windows.
  2. Click the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
  3. Type Control Panel, then press Enter.
  4. Choose Programs and Features.
  5. Select Acrobat or Adobe Reader, then Uninstall/Change.
  6. In the Setup dialog box, select Next.
  7. Select Repair, then Next.
  8. Hit Install. When the process is complete, choose Finish.
  9. Restart your computer. Then, log back into QBO and try to print.

 

If the issue persists, you can log in to your QBO account using a private window. Thus, there are times when too much historical data from the browser causes discrepancies that affect the view and performance of your QuickBooks.

 

To help us determine if this is a browser-related issue, feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito window depending on your browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

 

If it works, you can return to your original browser and clear its cache, not the cookies for a fresh start. You can also use another supported, up-to-date browser that has already been installed to narrow down the results.
