Product / Inventory Sales Only Report - Excluding Service Sales

I need a report that will show only my product / inventory sales for a given month.  I have thousands of inventory items and a few hundred service items that I sell.  At the end of the month I need to know how many items I've sold and at what price.  I've tried the Sales by Product/Service Summary and/or Detail reports, but I don't see any way to limit the report to just inventory items or just service items.

Currently, there isn't a report that displays only the inventory or service lists. However, you can personalize the report and manually choose the items at a time, which can be time-consuming for large volumes. We understand that this limitation may be inconvenient for you, and I want you to know that we are constantly looking for ways to make your QuickBooks experience more convenient.

 

To customize the report:

 

  1. From the Sales by Product/Service Detail page, click Customize.
  2. Click on Filter.
  3. From the Product/Service dropdown, select the inventory items or service items to show on the report.
  4. Tap Run report.
