I appreciate you taking the time to inform us of your current situation, @MM1002. I can help you fix this so you can add an income account to your product and services in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When a browser is full of temporary internet files, it improves your browsing experience. However, too many of those temporary data can also affect the performance of QBO, causing changes in how the program behaves. That said, I recommend we perform the basic troubleshooting to address your concern and restore QBO to its default function.

To begin, you'll want to access your company file using an incognito or private browser through these shortcut keys:

  • Safari 11 or newer: +Shift+N
  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Once you're in, access the Product and Services page and see if the Income Account field shows. If it shows and you can select your preferred income account for the item, proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

It's also best to try other compatible browsers when accessing your company file. Visit this article to see the list of compatible browsers in QuickBooks Online: Other browsers.

You may also check our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted as they can provide suggestion on how you can keep your inventory organized and streamline the process of monitoring them in your QBO.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Live Support Team so they can check on your account and conduct an investigation. This way, they can provide the necessary steps to rectify the problem and get you back on track. For more details, please see this page: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.

In addition, check out this handy article to help you monitor your inventory in QBO: Set up and track your inventory in QuickBooks Online.

I encourage you to utilize the comment section if you need further assistance with products and services in QuickBooks or other tasks you'd like to accomplish in the program. You can expect me to be around and provide the necessary details to resolve the inquiries. Stay safe, and have a good one.
