Purchase Orders incorporated into Estimate Vs Actual Report

Hi, I am currently using QuickBooks Desktop and need to pull a report that shows all purchase orders committed to a job but also includes the Estimate Vs Actual report. Can anyone help guide me through this process?

The report that displays Purchase Orders incorporated into the Estimate vs. Actual report is unavailable. However, you can run the Open Purchase Orders by Job and the Job Estimates vs. Actual Detail reports differently, then export them to Excel so you can incorporate them manually. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu, then choose Jobs, Time & Mileage.
  2. Select Job Estimates vs. Actual Detail or Job Estimates vs. Actual Detail.

In QuickBooks Desktop, you can locate the Open Purchase Orders by Job and the Job Estimates vs. Actual Detail on the same menu. However, the other one requires additional steps to display corresponding data. Please refer to the following process below:

 

For the Open Purchase Orders by Job report:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu at the top.
  2. Choose Jobs, Time & Mileage.
  3. Select Open Purchase Orders by Job.

 

 

For the Job Estimates vs. Actual Detail report:

 

  1. From the Reports menu, hover your cursor to Jobs, Time & Mileage.
  2. Pick the Job Estimates vs. Actual Detail report from the list.
  3. Choose a customer or job from the Filter Report by Job popup.

 

 

On the other hand, you can customize your reports to show specific information based on your business needs. You may memorize them afterward to save their current settings for future use.
